You can register detailed information about the host on the sending side or the receiving side. For the registration method, refer to Using the Host Information.

When you use HULFT-HUB, HULFT-HUB may set a host name with an underscore (_).

HULFT-HUB uses the host name with an underscore (_) to manage HULFT. You cannot use an underscore (_) in a host name for transfer.

On the HULFT Manager Management Console, you can enter a string of up to 60 characters. When the destination host is HULFT Ver.8.1 or higher, the size of the string that you entered will be checked based on the code set that is set in HULFT at the connection destination. When HULFT checks and confirms that the size of the string meets the condition that is given in the remarks, the characters that you entered will be saved in HULFT.

This field is set when HULFT-HUB or HULFT-WebConnect is used. Do not modify the setting of the field in HULFT Manager.

Explanation of each field

This section explains the fields to be specified in the Host Information.

Host Name

Host name to identify the host on the sending side or on the receiving side

At the time of sending, this host name is associated with the host name of the Transfer Group Information.

At the time of receiving, this host name is associated with the local host name of the host on the sending side.

Send Process Multiplex Level by Host

Send Process Multiplex Level for the host that is specified for Host Name

When you specify '0,' HULFT does not control Send Process Multiplex Level by Host.

Omitting this field sets '0.'

Do not specify a value for Send Process Multiplex Level by Host that is greater than the value of Send Job Multiplex Level in the System Environment Settings.

Use HULFT7 Comm. Mode

Communication method for the host that is specified for Host Name

Disabled:

HULFT first uses the communication method for HULFT10 to connect to the remote host. If the remote host uses a lower version, HULFT switches to the communication method for HULFT7.

Enabled:

HULFT uses the communication method for HULFT7 from the beginning.

Omitting this field sets 'Disabled.'

Proxy Server

This field is set when HULFT-HUB or HULFT-WebConnect is used.

In HULFT Manager, do not modify the settings of the fields that are displayed for Proxy Server.

Specify whether to accept the services of Send Request (SEND) and Resend Request (RESEND).

Points to be noted when configuring settings

Comment

Even if double-byte characters that are registered in Comment can be displayed on the HULFT Manager Management Console, the characters may not be displayed correctly on the HULFT Management Console for HULFT10 for IBMi.
