Startup
- Work File Generation Path (tmpdir)
-
Specify the path to store the HULFT temporary files.
There are cases where HULFT temporarily processes sending and receiving data and creates a work file. Therefore, check whether there is sufficient free disk space in the specified drive.
NoteWhen using the HULFT Clustering function with the HULFT10 Server grade, specify a path on the local disk.
- Service Port No. (srvport)
-
Specify the port number that HULFT uses internally when accepting a request from another host.
Make sure that this port number is not a port number that is reserved by the operating system or a port number that is being used by another application.
- Command Acknowledge Port No. (sddport)
-
Specify the port number that HULFT uses when accepting the Send File and the Resend File.
Make sure that this port number is not a port number that is reserved by the operating system or a port number that is being used by another application.
- Receive Port No. (rcvport)
-
Specify the port number that the Receive process uses when waiting for data that is sent from another host.
Make sure that this port number is not a port number that is reserved by the operating system or a port number that is being used by another application.
- Observe Port No. (obsport)
-
Specify the port number that the Observe process uses when accepting a request from another host.
Make sure that this port number is not a port number that is reserved by the operating system or a port number that is being used by another application.
- Service Process Port No. (srvcprocport)
-
Specify the port number that the service process uses when accepting a request from another host.
Make sure that this port number is not a port number that is reserved by the operating system or a port number that is being used by another application.
If you do not intend to open the communication port of service process, do not specify any value for this field.
- Scheduler Port No. (schport)
-
Specify the port number that the Scheduler process uses when accepting a request from another host.
Make sure that this port number is not a port number that is reserved by the operating system or a port number that is being used by another application.
If you do not intend to open the communication port of the Scheduler process, do not specify any value for this field.
- Send Process Multiplex Level (sndpsnum)
-
Specify the maximum number of Send threads started simultaneously by the Send process.
In the case of sending, when the number of the simultaneous remote hosts increases, the workload on the system or communication lines also increase.
Therefore, this option must be set in line with the condition of the system currently in use.
- Receive Process Multiplex Level (rcvpsnum)
-
Specify the maximum number of the Receive threads that start at the same time.
The number of threads that can be received cannot exceed this value.
In the case of receiving, when the number of transfers (Receive processing) that HULFT carries out increases, the load on the system or communication lines also increases.
Therefore, this option must be set in line with the condition of the system currently in use.
- Automatic Process Startup (autostart)
-
Each process is activated upon starting up the HULFT service.
You can specify whether or not to start up each process.
If you select the check box, automatic startup is set, while if you clear the check box, automatic startup is not set.
The processes that can be set are shown below.
-
Send Process
-
Receive Process
-
Observe Process
-
Scheduler Process
NoteYou can use the Scheduler only if the HULFT10 Server grade is installed.
-
- Process Auto Reboot Max. Count (procrestartcnt)
-
Specify the maximum number of automatic reboot attempts when a process ends unsuccessfully.
When '0' is set, the process will not be restarted automatically.
- Process Auto Reboot Retry Interval (procrestarttime)
-
Specify the interval (in seconds) until the next restart attempt when the automatic process reboot is executed upon the unsuccessful end of the process.
- Account Name
-
Specify an account name to operate the Send process, the Receive process, the Observe process, the Pre-send Job, and Scheduler.
Specify this field within 20 characters. (Regardless of full width or half width, count one letter as one character.) Spaces before or after the specified name are removed.
The account name must be specified as the user name registered on Windows. When this field is omitted, the Send process, the Receive process, the Observe process, and Scheduler are operated under the system account. On the other hand, the Pre-send Job is operated under the account of the user who issues the Send File.
The user you specified in the Account Setting section using the User Manager must meet the following conditions:
-
When a Windows system administrator uses HULFT
-
The account belongs to the Administrators group of the local machine.
-
The account is assigned the following user rights:
-
Act as part of the operating system
-
Adjust memory quotas for a process
-
Replace a process level token
-
Restore files and folders
-
Back up files and folders
-
-
-
When a general user uses HULFT
-
The account belongs to the Users group of the local machine.
-
Note-
It is necessary to log on to a Windows machine using the Account Name you specified, and create the user environment of the account in the system beforehand.
-
The user you specified in the Account Setting section must be ready to log on to the target Windows machine.
-
When handling networked files in an environment where HULFT10 Server grade is installed, a system account might not be able to log in to the remote machine. To handle network files, you must set an account for the HULFT service other than the account name in the System Environment Settings. For details, refer to Windows Administration Manual.
= Remarks =Refer to the relevant manual of the operating system in use for setting user rights.
-
- Domain Name
-
Specify the name of the domain, if the above account is located in a domain.
Specify the field in half width characters within 64 bytes. Spaces before or after the specified name are removed.
Specify the domain name registered in Windows.
NoteOmitting this field sets local account for the value.
- Password
-
The password for above account name is specified. Specify the field within 127 half width characters. Specify the password registered in Windows.
