Code Conversion Settings

Use the up arrow key and the down arrow key to move the cursor to 2. Code Conversion Settings on the System Environment Settings screen and then press the Enter key.

The Code Conversion Settings screen appears.

On this screen, specify the following field:

Code Set for Transfer (cs4trnsfr)

Specify the code set of the file that HULFT uses for transfer.

The value for the Code Set for Transfer (cs4trnsfr) must match up with the language setting of the operating system.

Note

If the value for Code Set for Transfer (cs4trnsfr) does not match the language setting of the operating system, the message specified in the message transmission function or the comment registered in the management information may not be displayed correctly.

After specifying the required field, press the Enter key.

The setting is saved and the System Environment Settings screen appears.
