Receive Multiplex Level

You can specify the number of transfers that the Receive system as a whole carries out simultaneously. This is called 'Receive Multiplex Level.'

You can set the Receive Multiplex Level by specifying Receive Process Multiplex Level in the System Environment Settings.

In the Receive system, every time the system receives a file, it starts one process. Setting Receive Multiplex Level allows the occurrence of unrestricted process activation (consumption of system resources) to be prevented.

In the Receive system, if the number of connections HULFT acknowledges from the sending side is more than the specified value in Receive Process Multiplex Level, the application treats it as an error in the Receive Process Multiplex Level and cuts off the connection with the sending side.

= Remarks =

The Send system can automatically reconnect if a Receive Process Multiplex Level error is returned.

In the System Environment Settings, this setting can be specified for Receive Multiplex Level Over Retry (rcvover_rty). For the reconnect retry count and interval, the values specified for Connect Retry Count (retrycnt) and Connect Retry Interval (retrytime) in the System Environment Settings are used, respectively.

Refer to System Environment Settings for details.
