Host Name

The same host name cannot be registered more than once in one Transfer Group.

Points to be noted on operations

Behavior when multiple hosts are registered

Behavior when multiple hosts are registered in Transfer Group ID of the Receive Management Information is different between Send File and Send Request.

Send File

HULFT sends data to all the hosts that are registered in Transfer Group ID (multicasting).

Send Request

HULFT sends data only to hosts that issued the Send Request.

If a host that issued Send Request has not been registered in Transfer Group ID, an error occurs.
