Product Key Update

The Product Key Update changes HULFT product information or extends the valid term of HULFT, without installing program modules.

The Product Key Update is required in the following cases:

  • Changing product information

    • Migration from the Trial version to the product version

    • Migration from the product version (Fixed Term License) to the product version (Perpetual License)

    • Changing the system name of the host on which HULFT is installed

    • Changing the product type of HULFT Cipher Option

  • Extension of valid term

    • Registering the extension of the Fixed Term License for the existing product

To update the Product Key, run the setup program of HULFT.

Note

When you update the Product Key, the key must be good for version, level, and revision of the product that has been installed.

= Remarks =

  • The product information refers to the basic information of HULFT, such as product type (product version, trial version, etc.), validity of a license, and the system name of installation destination.

  • You can check the valid term of the product version (Fixed Term License) on the Version Information screen. To display the Product Information screen, follow the procedure below:

    1. On HULFT Main Menu screen, press F13 key.

    2. The Product Information screen appears, in which you can confirm the valid term.
