Figure 2.14 Registration Information for Receive Management

1) Receive Management Information

This is the core management information in receiving operation. You must register the File ID that corresponds to the ID of the Send Management Information on the sending side. Define fields such as attributes of a Receive file and transfer conditions.

2) Job Information

The information of the job executed when the Receive operation is completed is registered. There are jobs that are executed when the Receive operation is terminated successfully and jobs that are executed when the Receive operation is terminated unsuccessfully. If multiple jobs are registered in one Job ID, they are executed in the order of their registration. This is not necessary if no jobs are started.

3) Host Information

Information of the remote hosts that are the sending host is registered.

4) Transfer Group Information

Remote host of the sending host (host registered in the Host Information) is registered. This is specified when the Send Request is made to the remote host. This is not necessary when no request is issued.

This must be registered if you wish to handle receiving from an unregistered host as error.

5) System Environment Settings

Generation library of work file, Receive Acknowledge Port No.,etc. are defined. Basically, it is registered only once in each system.

Registration Method

Each of the above information is registered by using the Management Console program of this system from the terminal. Moreover, the records to be registered in the information other than the System Environment Settings can be created with SEU to register information of large volume by using a batch registration function.

By using connection function to HULFT Manager, the registration on the host that installed HULFT Manager is also available.
