Dynamic Specification
In HULFT, it is necessary to register management information before file transfer. You can let HULFT dynamically change the values that are defined in the management information.
You can use one File ID throughout the operation when the name of a Send file and/or sending destination changes each time you carry out transfer, because HULFT can dynamically change the name of Send file and/or sending destination.
In addition, it is possible to make the Receive file name identical with the Send file name by setting an environment variable in a record of the Receive Management Information.
For notes on file transfer using the message parameters that are specified in the Receive Management Information, namely &MSG0 through &MSG5 and &MSGL0 through &MSGL1, refer to Message Transmission.
Dynamic Specification of Send Operation
The Transfer Group ID (GRPID) and the Send File Name (FILENAME) in the Send Management Information can be changed dynamically at the time of the Send File. The contents are specified in the parameter of the Send File command.
When issuing the Send File command, you can dynamically specify the Host Names. Dynamic specification of the Host Name disables the Transfer Group ID (GRPID) in the Send Management Information.
To perform dynamic specification at the time of sending, the Dynamic Parameter Specification (DYNPARAM) in the System Environment Settings file should be enabled. For the System Environment Settings, refer to System Environment Settings.
Dynamic Specification of Receive Operation
The same Send File Name can be used by setting the Receive File Name (FILENAME) in the Receive Management Information to '&SNDFILE' or '&SNDFILES.'
When the host types on the sending side and the receiving side are identical, specifying '&SNDLIB' for the Library name in the command makes the name same as the one on the sending side.
