Wait Time on Locked Send File (LOCKTIME)

This field specifies the wait time for the Send file to be released in the case where other job has locked the file during the Send processing (Seconds). (Optional)

If omitted, '300' is set.

For details of locking, refer to Exclusive Control between HULFT and User Job.

Wait Time on Locked Receive File (RCVLOCKTIME)

This field specifies the wait time for the Receive file to be released in the case where other job has locked the file during the Receive processing (Seconds). (Optional)

The value to be specified is determined by the type of a Receive file, namely physical data file or archive file.

The following table describes the criteria:

Table 3.10 Wait Time on Locked Receive File

Type of Receive File

Explanation

Physical Data Files

Specify the wait time for the Receive file to be unlocked

Archive Files

Specify the retry interval to access the locked Receive file

If omitted, '5' is set.

For details of locking, refer to Exclusive Control between HULFT and User Job.

Wait Time on Locked System File (SYSLOCKTIME)

This field specifies the wait time for a system file to be released in the case where other job has locked the file during each processing of HULFT (Seconds). (Optional)

If omitted, '5' is set.

For details of locking, refer to Exclusive Control between HULFT and User Job.

Retry Count on Locked Send File (LOCKCNT)

This field specifies the frequency to retry accessing a Send file, when the Send file is locked in the Send processing. (Optional)

Failure in accessing the file more than the specified times results in a lock error of the Send job.

When you set this field to '0,' HULFT does not retry accessing the file.

If omitted, '10' is set.

For details of locking, refer to Exclusive Control between HULFT and User Job.

Retry Count on Locked Receive File (RCVLOCKCNT)

This field specifies the frequency to retry accessing a Receive file, when the Receive file is locked in the Receive processing. (Optional)

Failure in accessing the file more than the specified times results in a lock error of the Receive job.

When you set this field to '0,' HULFT does not retry accessing the file.

If omitted, '10' is set.

For details of locking, refer to Exclusive Control between HULFT and User Job.

Retry Count on Locked System File (SYSLOCKCNT)

This field specifies the frequency to retry accessing a system file, when the system file is locked in each processing. (Optional)

Failure in accessing the file more than the specified times results in a lock error.

When you set this field to '0,' HULFT does not retry accessing the file.

If omitted, '10' is set.

For details of locking, refer to Exclusive Control between HULFT and User Job.

Job Interrupt Severity (JOBSTOPSEV)

Specify the job interrupt severity for the following types of jobs:

  • pre-send jobs

  • post-send jobs

  • post-receive jobs

  • remote jobs

If a job exceeds the specified severity, HULFT then discontinues the execution of the jobs that follow after.

If omitted, '00' is set.

Job Timeout (JOBWTIMEOUT)

This field specifies the wait time for the completion of jobs (Seconds). (Optional)

The value of this field takes effect when HULFT executes the following jobs:

  • pre-send jobs

  • Successful Job that is executed after receiving, when you specify the Receive Completion Notification (JOBWAIT) of the Receive Management Information for 'J' (Successful Job Completion)

  • Remote Job Execution

Regarding the job execution of other jobs, HULFT waits for the completion infinitely.

If omitted, '999999' is set. For the parameters that are affected by the Job Timeout, refer to Settings for timeouts.

Log Deletion Threshold (LOGDELCOUNT)

This field specifies the record count that determines the deletion timing when HULFT automatically deletes records in the Send Log, the Receive Log, or the Observe Log. (Optional)

If the number of log records in each log exceeds the specified threshold, HULFT deletes log records.

If you specify '0' for this field, HULFT does not delete log records automatically.

If omitted, "0" is set.

For details of the automatic deletion of log records, refer to Operations with automatic deletion of log records.

Status Display Selection (STATUSDISPLAY)

This field specifies the preference to display the records on the Transfer Status List screen. (Optional)

0 :

Display only the Send status.

1 :

Display both the Send status and the Receive status.

If omitted, '1' is set.

HULFT Identifier (HULFTCHARACTER)

Specify a character string identifying from which HULFT instance the following was output when multiple HULFT instances are installed in an environment. (Optional)

  • Records of the operation log

  • Messages from send processing, receive processing, observe processing, and operation log output processing

When omitted, nothing is output.

Clear Resend Queue File (DELRESENDFILE)

Specify whether to clear the Resend Queue file when starting the Send Acknowledge job. (Optional)

0 :

Do not clear the Resend Queue file

1 :

Clear the send control file

If omitted, "0" is set.

Note

If "C" is specified as a startup parameter for the Send Acknowledge job, the Resend Queue file is cleared even when this field is set to "0".

Clear Send Control File (DELREQCPFILE)

Specify whether to clear the send control file when starting the Send Acknowledge job. (Optional)

0 :

Do not clear the send control file

1 :

Clear the send control file

If omitted, "0" is set.

Note

If "D" is specified as a startup parameter for the Send Acknowledge job, the send control file is cleared even when this field is set to "0".
