Operation log EBCDIC set (OPLEBCDIC)
Outline of function
You can select an option for conversion methods of single-byte characters, when you output the Operation Logs.
Recommended operation methods in HULFT10
HULFT10 converts single-byte characters according to the value that you specified for HULFT Character Set (HULCHARSET) of the System Environment Settings.
If you want to convert single-byte characters by encoding them with the code set that is suitable for your system environment, set a half-width space for the Operation Log EBCDIC Set (OPLEBCDIC) of the System Environment Settings. By setting a half-width space for the Operation Log EBCDIC Set (OPLEBCDIC) of the System Environment Settings, data that is output in the Operation Log EBCDIC Set is encoded according to the value of HULFT Character Set (HULCHARSET) of the System Environment Settings.
In such a case, note that the conversion result may be different from the result yielded by HULFT lower than Ver.8, depending on the value that you specified for HULFT Character Set (HULCHARSET).
If you want to make the conversion result compatible with HULFT lower than Ver.8, set a value for the Operation Log EBCDIC Set (OPLEBCDIC).
