"NEC Katakana" and "ASPEN" of the EBCDIC Set

You can select NEC Katakana or ASPEN as the EBCDIC code set to use for the conversion of single-byte codes.

You can set it in the following management information:

• Send Management Information

• Receive Management Information

In addition, when you execute the following command, you can specify NEC Katakana or ASPEN as the EBCDIC code set to use for the conversion of single-byte codes:

• Joined File Split command

Recommended operation methods in HULFT10

HULFT10 does not have the corresponding function.

NEC Katakana and ASPEN are EBCDIC code sets that are used for products without HULFT10 communication assurance.

Therefore, change to an EBCDIC code that is supported by HULFT10.
