Selection of a data transfer method (Framed Message Transfer Type)

You can select a method to transfer data (Framed Message Transfer Type) from the host on the sending side to the host on the receiving side.

HULFT operates in two data transfer methods: Transfer Speed Priority mode and Error Detection Priority mode.

Figure 2.27 Data Transfer Method

In Transfer Speed Priority mode, the host on the sending side transfers data and then sends the subsequent data, without waiting for a receiving result notification from the host on the receiving side.

When you specify this mode, files (even if the files contain a large amount of data) can be transferred at a high speed in the high-speed network environment.

In Error Detection Priority mode, the host on the sending side transfers data and then checks the receiving result from the host on the receiving side before starting to send the subsequent data.

In this mode, the transfer speed is slower than in Transfer Speed Priority mode, but an error can be detected quickly.

Specify the data transfer method (Framed Message Transfer Type) for Framed Message Transfer Type in the System Environment Settings.
