Selecting the sign and zone
When you carry out format transfer or multi format transfer, you can select the sign and zone for the attribute conversion of the following types:

Signed Internal Decimal (P)
-
Signed External Decimal (S)
This setting is effective when 'S' is set as the value of Pack Zone Conversion of the System Environment Settings. The sign and zone conversion can be selected by Sign for ASCII and Sign for EBCDIC of the System Environment Settings.

<Receiving-side conversion when the sending host is a Type MF-IBMi host and the receiving host is a Type Win-UX host>
HULFT carries out conversion according to the setting of Sign for ASCII.

<Sending-side conversion when the sending host is a Type Win-UX host and the receiving host is a Type MF-IBMi host>
HULFT carries out conversion according to the setting of Sign for EBCDIC.

<Sending-side conversion when both the sending host and the receiving host are Type MF-IBMi hosts>
HULFT carries out conversion according to the setting of Sign for EBCDIC.

<Receiving-side conversion when both the sending host and the receiving host are Type MF-IBMi hosts>
HULFT carries out conversion according to the setting of Sign for EBCDIC.
