Decrease in data due to conversion of custom characters

For HULFT for IBMi, HULFT for Linux/AIX, HULFT for NonStop, or HULFT for Windows, setting Code Conversion Mode to 'Mode 1' allows you to convert custom characters into single-byte characters.

Conversion under such circumstances may reduce data.

HULFT pads the data with single-byte space codes that amount to the reduced data.

The above example shows how conversion works when you specify 'C (Cut)' for Shiftcode Mode in the Send Management Information.
