Host Information
This topic explains how to register detailed information for the host on the sending side and the host on the receiving side.
When you add a Transfer definition, HULFT-HUB Manager automatically generates the Host Information from the Registered Client Information of the clients in HULFT-HUB system and registers the information.
You can view and modify this information on the following screens:
- Register Host Information/Modify Host Information Record screen
- Collecting and Distributing System Management Information screen
You can also import and export this information on the following screen:

Explanation of Each Field
The following describes the fields that are configured in the Host Information.
For a field for which you select an option from the list, the following shows both the options that are displayed on the screen and the values that are described in the CSV file to be used for Collecting and Distributing System Management Information.
These fields are the basic settings for remote hosts for file transfer.
This field specifies the name of the host on the sending side or of the host on the receiving side.
For the Send processing, this host name is associated with the host name of the Transfer Group Information.
For the Receive processing, this host name is associated with the local host name on the sending side.
For a host that carries out file transfer via HULFT-HUB Server, specify the host name within 44 bytes.
Specify the correct name that is registered on the remote host as the Host Name. The Host Name is case sensitive.
| [Note] | Specify only alphanumeric characters for the host name. Although you can use specific symbols in order to ensure backward compatibility, HULFT may not operate correctly if you do so. |
This field specifies the host type for the host.

(A8) Send Process Multiplex Level by Host
This field specifies the multiplex level for the specified host. Operation will vary based on the specified connection type.
HULFT applies the multiplex level of sending by host. If you set '0,' HULFT does not check the multiplex level of sending by host. If you omit this field, HULFT-HUB sets '0.' For this tag, set a value that is lower than the Send Process Multiplex Level in the System Environment Settings.
This field specifies the comment regarding the host.
HULFT-HUB requires this information for file transfer via HULFT-HUB Server.

(B1) Local Net Proxy Server Name
When used for file transfer via HULFT-HUB Server
This field specifies the host name for HULFT-HUB Server (Controlling Server) with a route closest to the client, of those servers that can relay the Send processing and the Receive processing.
| [Remarks] | If you register the Transfer definitions on the Transfer Information screen, HULFT-HUB automatically sets the host name of the Controlling Server based on the route settings. |
When used for file transfer not via HULFT-HUB Server
This field specifies the name of the server on which HULFT FireWall that is connected to your network is running.
HULFT requires this information to connect to HULFT FireWall from a local network.

This field specifies the name of the server on which HULFT FireWall for the network of the remote host is running.
HULFT requires this information to connect to HULFT FireWall from a global network (Internet).
(B4) Global Net Proxy Port No.
When used for file transfer via HULFT-HUB Server
This field specifies the Receive port number for the local host.
| [Remarks] | If you register the Transfer definitions on the Transfer Information screen, HULFT-HUB automatically sets the Receive Port No. for the local host based on the route settings. |

You cannot use an environment that uses HULFT FireWall together with HULFT-HUB environment.
2. Host name that is used for transfer via HULFT-HUB Server
-
When you omit the Notification Host Name in the Registered Client Information
The host name in the Host Information that is used for transfer via HULFT-HUB Server varies according to the setting of the Notification Host Name for Transfer via HUB in the System Environment Settings of HULFT-HUB Server.
Notification Host Name for Transfer via HUB Host Name in Host Information Format with Port No. Host Name_Receive Port No. Format with Port No. for Controlled Clients Only Format without Port No. Host Name This is the case for the Host Information that is registered in HULFT-HUB Manager when you carry out the following operations:
- Switching to transfer via HULFT-HUB Server using the Route Batch Modification function - Registration of a client with 'Switch to HUB Transfer' specified - Creation of a Transfer definition for transfer via HULFT-HUB Server -
When you specify the Notification Host Name in the Registered Client Information
For the host name in the Host Information that is used for all transfers via HULFT-HUB Server, HULFT-HUB uses the name that you specify for the Notification Host Name.
