Transfer Group Information
This topic explains how to group and register the transfer destination hosts.
If you add Transfer definitions on the Transfer Information screen in HULFT-HUB Manager, HULFT-HUB automatically sets the Transfer Group Information.
You can view and modify this information on the following screens:
- Register Transfer Group Information/Modify Transfer Group Information Record screen
- Collecting and Distributing System Management Information screen
You can also import and export this information on the following screen:
- Collecting and Distributing System Management Information screen
| [Note] | For versions lower than HULFT-HUB Server Ver.3.9, if the client is HULFT Ver.8.4 or higher and the Forced Strong Key Mode is set to 'Enabled' in the System Environment Settings, connection with the client is not supported. Therefore, it is not possible to view, update, or newly register the management information for that client. |

Explanation of Each Field
The following describes the fields that are configured in the Transfer Group Information.
1. Transfer Group Information
This field specifies the ID to identify the remote hosts for sending or receiving.
This Transfer Group ID is associated with the Transfer Group ID in the Send Management Information and the Transfer Group ID in the Receive Management Information.
When you add a Transfer definition on the Transfer Information screen in HULFT-HUB Manager, HULFT-HUB automatically selects an available ID in the Transfer Group Information on the client.
If there is no ID that can be used, HULFT-HUB automatically creates a new unique ID that starts with 'HB' in the Transfer Group Information on the client.
This field specifies the host name of the communication destination when you send or receive a file.
You cannot register the same name as an existing host name in the same transfer group.
You can specify a maximum of 48 hosts for a single transfer group.
This field specifies the comment for the transfer group.
| [Note] | If you enter double-byte codes on a screen in HULFT-HUB Manager, shift codes may be added to the double-byte codes when the information is registered on the client side. If the data exceeds 60 bytes when shift codes are added, HULFT will cut the data of the 61st byte and after. |
| [Remarks] | You can enter lowercase alphabetic characters. |
2. Additional information other than Transfer Group Information
The additional information is displayed together with the Transfer Group Information on each screen where you edit the Transfer Group Information. You can view and modify this information on screens in HULFT-HUB Manager.
| [Note] | You cannot view this additional information on the Management screen on the client (HULFT) side. |
This field specifies the alias for the transfer group.
It is recommended that a unique name be assigned in the Transfer Group Information so that each transfer group ID that is displayed on screens in HULFT-HUB Manager can be easily identified.
This field shows the Batch Distribution Information ID with which the Transfer Group Information is registered as distribution data (cannot be modified).
