Configuration Method of Server's Accumulation Environment Settings

The Accumulation Environment Settings screen allows you to view and register the capacity settings of the HUB Mailbox that is used on a server and the settings that are related to Accumulated files.

You can manage the HUB Mailboxes of the Registered Clients of the selected server and the HUB Mailboxes of the Neighboring Servers of the selected server. You cannot manage the HUB Mailboxes of the Registered Clients of the Neighboring Servers or the HUB Mailboxes of servers other than the Neighboring Servers.

For details on each field, refer to Accumulation Environment Settings in the Management Information Reference.

[Remarks] The HUB Mailbox is a file that stores the control information of data that is accumulated on a server and the information that is related to the accumulated data.

Procedure for Opening Accumulation Environment Settings Screen

You can open the Accumulation Environment Settings screen on the Management screen.

  1. In the Structure List or on the Structure Diagram, select the server for which you want to configure the Accumulation environment settings.
  2. Click the [Accumulation Environment Settings] on the [System Configuration] menu.
  3. The Accumulation Environment Settings screen appears.

- Deliver after Accumulation

Continuation Condition

This field shows/specifies how the server operates if an error occurs when the Accumulation Condition is 'Transfer and Accumulate Concurrently.'

- Continue to Transfer and Accumulate when Error Occurs

- Continue to Accumulate when Transfer Error Occurs

- Continue to Transfer when Accumulation Error Occurs

- Cancel Transfer and Accumulation when Error Occurs

Accumulated File Deletion Condition

This field shows and specifies how and when to delete accumulated files, when the value of "Transfer and Accumulate Concurrently" or "Deliver after Accumulation" is specified in the Accumulation Condition field.

- Do Not Delete

- Delete Immediately after Transfer or Delivery is Complete

- Delete when Specified Period has Elapsed after Accumulation is Complete

- Delete when Specified Period has Elapsed after Delivery is Complete

Transfer Result Notification to Sending Side When Accumulation Is Complete *3

This field shows/specifies the way to notify transfer results to the host on the sending side at the completion of accumulation when the setting of the Accumulation Condition is 'Accumulate Only When Unable to Transfer,' 'Transfer and Accumulate Concurrently,' or 'Deliver after Accumulation.'

- Always Return as Transfer Complete

- Defer to Transfer Results for Receive Host

Verify Data

This field specifies whether or not to use a data verification function. When you send or receive data, this function generates a hash value from the transfer data and compares the hash value with the hash value of the received data on the host on the receiving side to check the integrity of the transfer data.

- Yes: Verify data when the data accumulates on the server.

- No: Do not verify data when the data accumulates on the server.

For a server that appears on the transfer map of the Transfer Information screen, the setting of the Verify Data of the Accumulation Settings information in the Transfer Information is used.

If Accumulation is carried out on a server that does not appear on the transfer map due to a network failure or other problems, the setting of the Verify Data in the Accumulation Environment Settings is used.

Storage Expiration Date

This section shows/specifies the time period for which the server waits before it deletes the Accumulated files when the Accumulated File Deletion Condition is 'Delete when Specified Period has Elapsed after Accumulation is Complete' or 'Delete when Specified Period has Elapsed after Delivery is Complete.'

You can specify a day from 'Sunday' to 'Saturday.'

Every Month: Delete data every month on the specified day of the month if more than one month has passed since the data was accumulated.

You can set values in the following ranges:

- '1st' to '31th,' 'Final day of the month'

- 'Sunday' to 'Saturday' of the '1st week' to the '4th week' or the 'Final week of the month'
