Search Condition Settings

This topic explains how to filter search results, such as how to filter the management information by ID (or host name) and how to filter logs by file ID.

Management Information Search Condition

This topic explains how to search the following management information. This section uses job IDs as an example, but the operation is the same for other types of management information, as well.

  • Job IDs on the Select Job Information Record screen
  • Format IDs on the Select Format Information Record screen
  • Multi Format IDs on the Select Multi Format Information Record screen
  • Mail Interface IDs on the Select Mail Interface Information Record screen
  • Schedule IDs on the Schedule Information screen
  • Trigger IDs on the Select File Trigger Information Record screen
  • File IDs on the Transfer Information screen

ID

This field specifies the file ID that will be the basis for the search.

You can enter an ID when you select anything other than 'From the top' for the Search Condition.

Search Condition

These radio buttons allow you to specify how to filter the IDs.

Condition Operation
All IDs Starting with the above ID Only job IDs that begin with the string that was entered for the ID are displayed (prefix match).
IDs Starting with the above ID and After (in ASCII order) Only job IDs that begin with the string that was entered for the ID and after (according to ASCII order) are displayed.
Match full. Only the job ID that is identical to the string that was entered for the ID is displayed.
From the top. All Job IDs are displayed.

[Set]

When you click the [Set], the Job ID Search Condition Settings dialog box closes and only Job IDs that match the condition that was specified on the Select Job Information Record screen are displayed.

ID Search Condition for Issue Request

This topic explains how to search by file ID or host name when you issue the types of requests listed below. This section uses the case of searching by file ID when you issue the Send File, but the operation is the same for other cases, as well.

  • File ID for Send File
  • File ID/Host Name for Send Request
  • File ID/Host Name for Resend Request

File ID

This field specifies the file ID that will be the basis for the search.

You can enter an ID when you select anything other than 'From the top' for the Search Condition.

Search Condition

These radio buttons allow you to specify how to filter the IDs.

Condition Operation
All IDs Starting with the above ID Only file IDs that begin with the string that was entered for the File ID are displayed (prefix match).
IDs Starting with the above ID and After (in ASCII order) Only file IDs that begin with the string that was entered for the File ID and after (according to ASCII order) are displayed.
Match full. Only the file ID that is identical to the string that was entered for the File ID is displayed.
From the top. All file IDs are displayed.

[Search]

When you click the [Search], the file IDs that match the specified search conditions are displayed in the list of file IDs on the left side.

ID Search Condition for Resend File

This topic explains how to search by host name, file ID, or file name when you issue the Resend File.

Date/Time

This field specifies the start date/time for the range to search in the Resend Queue

Date

Specify the start date for the range to search in the Resend Queue (optional).

This option becomes available when you select the check box on the left.

If you omit this field, the search will start from the oldest record in the Resend Queue.

Time

Specify the start time for the range to search in the Resend Queue (optional).

This option becomes available when you select the check box on the left. If you do not specify the date, you cannot specify this field.

If you omit this field, the search will include all the records in the Resend Queue with the date specified as the start date.

From the top.

If you select this check box, all records in the Resend Queue are displayed without filtering.

[Search]

When you click the [Search], all records in the Resend Queue that match the specified search conditions are displayed in the list of file IDs on the left-side.

ID Search Condition on Filter Condition Panel

The Transfer Status Watch screen is shown below as an example, but the operation is the same for the Accumulation List screen, the Job Flow List screen, and the Job Flow Watch screen.

ID Search Method

Select whether to filter by ID (or host name) or alias.

File ID

This field specifies the ID that will be the basis for the search.

If you select 'File ID/Host Name' for the Search Method, the entered ID is compared with the file IDs in the Transfer Log.

If you select 'Alias' for the Search Method, the entered ID is compared with aliases of the file IDs in the Transfer Log.

If you enter nothing for this field, all records in the Transfer Log are displayed without filtering.

Search Condition
