Functional restrictions for HULFT Ver.8.4
The restrictions of the new functions of HULFT Ver.8.4 are listed below.
Forced Strong Key Mode
To use Forced Strong Key Mode, HULFT-HUB Ver.3.9 or later is required.
If Forced Strong Key Mode is "Enabled" in the System Environment Settings of a client, HULFT-HUB does not support connecting with the client, because versions earlier than HULFT-HUB Ver.3.9 do not support Forced Strong Key Mode.
Therefore, for versions earlier than HULFT-HUB Ver.3.9, operation under the following circumstances is not guaranteed.
-
Forced Strong Key Mode is "Enabled" for a registered client.
-
After Forced Strong Key Mode is set to "Disabled" for a registered client, the value for Forced Strong Key Mode is changed to "Enabled".
Instant Transfer
You cannot issue Instant Transfer Send File requests.
-
You can confirm the log records for Instant Transfer by checking the send log or receive log of the client.
-
In HULFT Ver.8.4 and later, "_INSTANT_TRANSFER_" is handled as a special file ID exclusive to Instant Transfer. If the client is running HULFT Ver.8.4 or later, you cannot use this file ID.
Automatic Switching of Code Conversion
Automatic switching between sending-side conversion and receiving-side conversion is not available when you transfer data via HULFT-HUB Server earlier than Ver.3.9.
