Version information

Version information is a tool to view DataSpider Servista Version Information.

Functions provided by Version information

Version information provides following functions.
Description of Functions
Name of functions Description Remarks
Adapter module Displays version information of adapter modules under $DATASPIDER_HOME/server/plugin/data_processing directory.
  • Third-party libraries are not displayed.
System module Displays version information of system modules under $DATASPIDER_HOME/server/system directory.
  • Third-party libraries are not displayed.
Patch information Provides names of the patches applied to the installation of DataSpiderServer and the date on which it was applied.
  • Displayed when there are applicable patches not being installed.

Adapter module

Item name Description Remarks
Name Module name.  
Type The type of module.
"Plugin modules" is,a batch of modules under $DATASPIDER_HOME/server/plugin/data_processing.
 
Version Version of the module.
  • The date at which module is created with format "yyyyMMddHHmm" will be numbered as version.
Patch name Name of patches applied.
  • If the module is applied as a patch, patch name displays.

System module

Name Module name.  
Type The type of module.
"System modules" is a batch of modules under $DATASPIDER_HOME/server/system.
 
Version Version of the module.
  • The date at which module is created with format "yyyyMMddHHmm" will be numbered as version.
Patch name Name of patches applied.
  • If the module is applied as a patch, patch name displays.

Patch information

Item name Description Remarks
Date The applied date of patch.
"yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm:ss" format displays.
 
Name The name of the patch.
  • Patch naming convention is "DSS <Version of DataSpider>_<yyMMdd>_<sequence>".

The names of the modules applied as patch will be displayed in the fields corresponds to [Patch name] column in the both [Adapter modules] and the [System modules] tabs.
