Connection Settings

The connection settings of global resource can be managed from the adapter properties, from "Global Resource Settings" within the Control Panel, or from WebConsole.
Basic settings

AccessKey Required Only environment variables are available. Enter a Access Key ID.
  
SecretAccessKey Required Only environment variables are available. Enter a Secret Access Key.
  
Endpoint Optional Only environment variables are available. Enter an Endpoint.
  • Defaults to ec2.amazonaws.com if omitted.
  • For all Endpoints that can be specified, please refer to Available Region Endpoints for the AWS SDKs (http://developer.amazonwebservices.com/connect/entry.jspa?externalID=3912)
Timeout Optional Only environment variables are available. Specify timeout value in millisecond for the connection establishment and the service requests initiated.
  • Defaults to 300000 if omitted.
  • Operation should fail, regardless of timeout set, if it is not completed when Start Servers operation [Wait Until Instance Starts] or Stop Servers operation [Wait Until Instance Stops] are enabled.
