Creating and viewing a custom view
Custom view
A custom view is a virtual table that is created by selecting target columns from one or more tables or views in the same database.
The orders or conditions can be specified for output data. You can set them step by step by following the creation wizard screens to create a table.
Method for creation
You can create a new custom view by clicking [New registration] in [Custom view] in the header menu or clicking [Add] on the custom view screen.
Set the four categories of information by following the instructions on the screen.
(1) Select a base asset |
Select one base asset for the custom view to create. You can select it from the assets with "Can preview and download" permission. |
(2) Select join assets |
Select assets for outer join (JOIN) with the base asset. You can select zero to five assets. You can select them from the assets with "Can preview and download" permission. |
(3) Set conditions |
Set conditions for output targets for the base asset and JOIN assets.
|
(4) Add asset information |
Save the created custom view and set a name, description, and permission in order to be able to search for it, as with usual assets. |
(5) Confirm |
Confirm and register the information about the created custom view. |
Method for editing
Custom views can be edited by selecting the asset to edit in the custom view list and clicking [Edit].
Only users who meet either of the following conditions for the target custom view can edit it:
-
Users who have the "Admin" role
-
Users who are the owners of the target custom view and have the "Can preview and download" permissions for all the reference source assets
