Settings menu

When you click the Settings icon in the header menu, the Settings menu opens.

 

Asset management settings

Select this item to display the Asset management settings screen.

Permission for each setting field in the asset management settings is as follows.

Rebuild of search index

You can manually rebuild the search index.

Use this item in cases when new assets that you crawled or new terms and tags that you added are not applied to search results.

= Remarks =

When you set dates that do not exist in the schedule for automatic execution, the scheduled crawling is performed on the first day of the next month.

Example: If you set the schedule to crawl on the 31st of every month, crawling is not performed in April but on May 1st.

 

Asset type of search target

You can specify the asset type of the search target.

Asset types for which the check box is not selected are not searched for.

 

Maximum number of data downloads

You can specify a maximum number which is the limit for data that can be downloaded from the preview screen.

 

Permission assignment

The list of a user's or user group's permissions that are set for all assets is output to a CSV file.

= Remarks =
  • Output is not possible while output by another user is in progress. Wait until the other user finishes outputting and try again.
  • For details about the CSV file to be output, refer to CSV file specifications.

 

User management settings

Select this item to display the User management settings screen.

 

Currently selected user authentication method

The currently selected user authentication method is displayed.

You can also change the user authentication method.

= Remarks =
  • To use "SSO/SAML authentication", configure the settings to connect to SSO/SAML with the "SSO/SAML connection settings" in advance.
  • To use "Active Directory authentication", configure the settings to connect to Active Directory with the "Active Directory connection settings" in advance.

 

User synchronization settings

The last date/time of synchronization between Active Directory users and DataCatalog users and the results are displayed.

 

Performing user synchronization

You can synchronize Active Directory users and DataCatalog users.

 

Schedule automatic execution

You can set the date/time for the schedule to automatically execute synchronization between Active Directory users and DataCatalog users.

= Remarks =

SSO/SAML connection settings

Select this item to display the SSO/SAML connection settings screen.

Select this item to display the Active Directory connection settings screen.
