Terms and tags
You can utilize terms and tags as a Wiki, and you can also link them to assets to improve the searchability of data.
Term |
This is a word shared by an organization. You cannot add or update terms if you do not have the Steward permission or higher. |
Tag |
This is a marker that each user can use freely. Anyone can add or update tags. Use tags to assign a unique meaning to data. |
Terms
Use terms to share the meaning of words and how to use them.
By registering specialized terms used for regular business, you can share the meaning with other departments or teams with different types of business in order to help them understand.
To add terms, the Steward permission or higher is required.
To edit terms, the Owner permission is required for the corresponding term.
Tags
Each user can create tags freely and use them as markers.
Any user can add these without restrictions.
To edit tags, the Owner permission is required for the corresponding tag.
Method for addition
- Click [Term/Tag] from the header menu.
- Click [Add].
- Enter the required fields, and click [Register].
Aside from the above procedure, you can add tags directly from the asset details screen.
Method for editing

Click [Term/Tag] from the header menu.

Click the term or tag that you edit.

When the registration screen is displayed, edit the information.
The edited terms or tags are effective immediately. You do not need to click a particular button.
Method for deleting

Click [Term/Tag] from the header menu.

Select the term or tag you want to delete, and click [Delete].

When the confirmation screen is displayed, click [Delete].
