Backup and restore

Backup procedure

1. Stop the HULFT DataCatalog service. Refer to Stopping the HULFT DataCatalog service.

2. Copy the HULFT DataCatalog folder and save it in an appropriate location.

 

Restore procedure

Deploy the backed up HULFT DataCatalog folder to the operational environment.

= Remarks =

  • If you restore from a backup, reconfigure the search index from the Environment settings screen after the first startup.

  • If you use different folders for the backup and the restore, new service registration is required. Refer to Registration of the HULFT DataCatalog service.
