Registering data sources by using ODBC administrator

Before you use ODBC, you must register an ODBC data source by using ODBC Data Source Administrator of the OS.

From the Administrative Tools screen of the Control Panel, click the Data Source (ODBC) icon, and then select an ODBC data source in the System DSN tab of the ODBC Data Source Administrator screen.
