Notes on level/revision upgrade to a 64-bit version

(1) If you are using the 32-bit version of a user exit program

When you build a user exit program, you must make sure that the architecture of DataMagic and of the operating system is the same as the architecture of the user exit program. If the 64-bit version of DataMagic is installed, build the user exit program as a 64-bit application.

(2) If you are using the 32-bit version of Oracle Instant Client

Make sure that the architecture of DataMagic and of the operating system is the same as the architecture of Oracle Instant Client. If the 64-bit version of DataMagic is installed, use the 64-bit version of Oracle Instant Client.
