Restoring DataMagic Server

1. Terminate DataMagic Server

Terminate any running instances of DataMagic Server.

For details on the termination procedure, see Stopping the Request Acknowledge daemon.

2. Overwrite existing DataMagic Server files with a backup

Expand the backup file of DataMagic Server that was archived using the tar command, and then copy the expanded files to the execution module storage directory indicated below, which is under the installation directory of the DataMagic instance you are using.
