Overview of common resource information

The following are common resource information types:

  • Common components information

  • Database connection information

  • External character table information

  • EBCDIC user table information

You can use the methods below to register, change, and delete common resource information.

By using the Import Management Information screen and the Export Management Information screen, you can import and export database connection information and common components information.

In addition, you can use DataMagic management commands to import and export such information. For details about the DataMagic management commands, see Code conversion table command.
