Output file name settings

This section explains the fields of the output file name settings when Use field is specified for Output location.

For example of conversion for output file name setting, see DataMagic Operation Manual.

Note

If the dynamic output file name is specified at the execution of conversion, that value will be enabled and this setting will be disabled.

Specify the directory to output the temporary file used when the output file name is specified.

Specify with absolute path or relative path.

For details about the temporary file, see DataMagic Operation Manual.

Note

The temporary file will be automatically deleted when the conversion process finishes normally, but it might not be deleted if the process does not finish normally due to crash or other reason. In such a case, delete the following file from the conversion execution folder.

  • process-ID: A numeric value with a maximum of 10 digits (without leading zeroes)

  • serial-number: Serial number in units of processes. A numeric value with a maximum of 10 digits (without leading zeroes)

    For DataMagic to support a Japanese era name that is more recent than 平成, it is necessary to specify the new Japanese era name in the Japanese era name (era_name) field of the system environment settings file (huledenv.conf).

The values from 0001 to 9999 are used when specified. If the number exceeds 9999, it returns to and uses 0001.
