Log settings
This section explains the fields of the Log Settings tab in the Data Processing Settings screen.
(1) Log fields
Use the specified system environment settings
Select whether to use a value already set in the system operation settings.
(2) All systems fields
Output to a shared system log
Specify whether to output the data processing log to a shared system file.
Log entries retained
Displays the value set in the system operation settings.
(3) File and event log fields
Output preference
Specify the error information types you wish to output.
- All

: All error information is output.
- Errors only

: Only information during abnormal end is output.
- Do not output

: Error information is not output.
File name
Data processing log is output to a specified file.
Specify the name of the output file for the data processing log, using the absolute path or a relative path. Click the Browse button to display the Select File dialog box.
From this dialog box, you can specify the file name. To output the data processing log, a file name must be specified. If no file name is specified, the data processing log is not output regardless of the Output Preference value.
Event logs (syslog)
Specify whether to output an event log or syslog.
Output format
Specify the output format of the data processing log.

Select whether to specify the output format.

Output method
Method to output to the data processing log.

: Output content is overwritten.
- Append

: Output content is appended.
Maximum file size (MB)
Specify the size that becomes the condition to switch the output destination of the data processing log.
Specify a value from 0 to 99.
