utledcomp (Command to compress management information)

Even if you delete the management information from the DataMagic screen or by executing the utledirm command, the file size of the management information does not reduce. To reduce the file size, make sure to use this command instead.

Note that this applies not only to the management information, but also to the log files.

Parameters

Types of management information to be compressed. (This parameter cannot be omitted.)

ed: : Data processing information
csv: : CSV information file
fmt: : Format information file
mfmt: : Multi format information file
hfmt: : Hierarchy format information file
xml: : XML information file
excel: : Excel information file
db: : Database table information file
dbc: : Database connection information file
pon: : Common components information file
log: : Data-processing log information file
ope: : Operation log information
user: : User management information
group: : Business group management information
all: : All management information files

Note

An error might occur if an attempt is made to register, update, and convert management information when the utledcomp command is being executed. This error occurs when the management information file is locked by the utledcomp command.

Do not register, update, and convert management information if you execute the utledcomp command.
