HULFT versions that can coexist with DataMagic

You can use HULFT and DataMagic in the same environment.

The following versions of HULFT can be used in the same environment:

  • HULFT for UNIX Ver. 7.0.x or later

  • HULFT for Linux Ver. 7.0.x or later

  • HULFT for zLinux Ver. 7.0.x or later

Note

  • Specify different installation folders for HULFT and DataMagic.

  • If you use DataMagic and a cluster-enabled version of HULFT in the same cluster environment and a failover takes place, because the layout information, data output files and error files are not subject to fault tolerance, they might be corrupted.
