Path setting in data processing information

The following paths set in the data processing information can be specified by an absolute path or a relative path.

  • Error file name

  • User exit program

  • Input file name

  • Output file name 1

  • Path of the external character conversion table

  • Path of the EBCDIC user table

The starting points of relative paths differ when the conversion is executed from the DataMagic Management screen and from the command line. As a result, conversion executed from the DataMagic Management screen might terminate normally, but conversion executed from the command line ends as an error.

After you perform a test run in the DataMagic Management screen to confirm normal operation, if you want to use the command to execute conversion in the operation environment, in advance you have to create the folder structure specified in the data processing information in the execution environment.
