Notes on using data processing information created under another OS
You can use a command to import management information in order to register data processing information created under another OS. But because the folder structure and path specification differ according to the platform, the execution of data processing might result in an error. In this case, modify the path specifications in the data processing information to appropriate values before executing data processing.
(1) If the paths in the data processing information are specified by absolute paths
Because the root path differs between Windows and UNIX/Linux, the paths become invalid during the conversion and an error occurs.
(2) If the paths in the data processing information are specified by relative paths
- Using the data processing information created in UNIX/Linux in Windows
-
The sign / used to separate folders in UNIX/Linux is also recognized as a folder delimiter in Windows.
- Using the data processing information created in Windows in UNIX/Linux
-
The sign \ used as the folder delimiter in Windows is interpreted as part of a file name in UNIX/Linux. Change the paths in data processing information to the appropriate values.
