Layout information
(1) Input file format information (ID=INFMT17)
Register the format information for the input file.
In the DataMagic Management screen, click the Format to display the Format Information List screen, and then click the New button to display the Format - Detailed Information screen. Configure the settings as shown below and save them. Configure the settings as shown below and save them.
When you set the detail information, click the Add row button and display the Format - Detailed Information screen by double-clicking the added field name.
When you change the detail information for which settings have been specified, double-click the field name and open the Format - Detailed Information screen.

(2) Output file format information (ID=OUTFMT17)
Create OUTFMT17 by copying the format information INFMT17, which you created in (1) above.
In the DataMagic Management screen, click the Format to display the Format Information List screen, and then click the New button to display the Format - Detailed Information screen. Select INFMT17 from the ID list and click the Copy button. Enter OUTFMT17 in Copy destination ID on the displayed Copy dialog box and click the OK button. Check that ID=OUTFMT17 has been added to the list.
