Error Data File
The same data in the input records is output to the Error Data File.
The output specifications of the Error Data File are shown in the following.

The Error Data File can only be newly created or overwritten. You cannot write additional data to the file.

If you specified the Error Data File in the utled command, the file will always open while utled is activated.

If the input file contains a BOM, the Error Data File will also contain a BOM.

If no data is written to the Error Data File by the time the utled command is finished, the Error Data File will be deleted.

If data is written to the Error Data File, even if an error occurs that does not permit processing to continue, the Error Data File will not be deleted.

The records for the input source data are output to the Error Data File unconverted. For CSV format files, the line break code will also be the same.

The Error Data File supports network file lock.
