If format or database table information is imported as CSV information
This section describes the CSV information when format information or database table information is imported as CSV information on the Import fields screen.
(1) If format information is imported as CSV information
When format information is imported, the following fields will be displayed on the Import fields screen.
-
Field number
-
Field name
-
No. of occurrences
-
No. of bytes
-
Digits after decimal point
-
Field type
-
Comment
If you click the OK button on the Import fields screen, Field name and Comment will be set in the CSV - Detailed Information screen.
Note that the field names whose check boxes were not selected on the Import fields screen and their parent fields will not be set in the CSV Information screen.
In format information, a field name can be repeated. In CSV detailed information, however, field names with the same name cannot be registered. For this reason, if the number of repetitions is set for a field name or a parent field of a field name, the names will be changed to "<field-name>_<serial-number>" in CSV detailed information. The serial number starts from 1.

(2) If database table information is imported as CSV information
If database table information is imported, the following fields will be displayed on the Import fields screen:
-
Field number
-
Field name
-
Fixed/variable length
-
Size
-
Field type
-
Status
-
Comments
If you click the OK button on the Import fields screen, Field name and Comments will be set in the CSV - Detailed Information screen.
Note that the field names whose check boxes were not selected on the Import fields screen will not be set in the CSV - Detailed Information screen.
In database table information, a field name can be duplicated. In CSV detailed information, however, field names with the same name cannot be registered. For this reason, when field names are duplicated, the names will be changed to "<field-name>_<serial-number>" in CSV detailed information. The serial number starts from 1.
(3) Mapping data
After format information or database table information is imported to the CSV - Detailed Information screen, on the Data Processing Settings screen, auto mapping can be performed between CSV format, format, and database table format. Auto mapping can be used in the following processing:
-
Map identical fields
-
Map similar fields
-
Map sequentially
Use the Set Mapping Information screen for mapping.
If a field name is changed to "<field-name>_<serial-number>" because the field name is repeated in the format information, the section "_<serial-number>" is removed when mapped in auto mapping.
