Sort settings of an input file (when the file format is CSV, Format, or Excel)
When the input file format is CSV, Format, or Excel, you can specify to perform a sort operation of the input data before data processing starts. If you specify a sort in the input settings, processing starts after the sorting is complete. The input field types that can be used as a sort key are: character, numeric, and date. You can also specify multiple keys for a sort.
Similarly, when the input file format is a Database table, you can specify to perform a sort operation before data processing starts. For database, specify the sort operation on the Database Table - Detailed Information screen.
(1) Sorting the merged data
After deleting duplicate lines, you can sort the input merge data by using a specified field as the key.
To specify this setting, in the Sorting tab of the Input Settings screen in the Data Processing Settings screen, select Sort input data and specify the sorting conditions.
If you also use matching in conjunction, after the merge processing is complete, the matching process of the input merge data and the matching file is performed.
