Settings for output files

The Output Settings screen is used to specify the information related to output files. To display the Output Settings screen, drag-and-drop an icon from the Object Palette to the output area, and then double-click the icon.

= Remarks =

  • The character encoding of an output file can be changed only in the DataMagic Server grade.

    Because code conversion functions are not available in the DataMagic Desktop grade, you cannot change the character encoding for conversion. Execute conversion with the character encoding that is specified in the Encoding of input and output files (cs4file) field of the input and output settings in the system environment settings file (huledenv.conf).

  • When you use the Skip Error Data function, specify the format of the output file as either "CSV", "Format", or "Multi Format".

    If the Skip Error Data function is enabled and a format other than these is specified, the utled command ends in an error.
