Business group
A business group is a unit for managing business operations as a group. By grouping different business operations, such as viewing DataMagic management information and log, accessing system administration, and executing data processing, you can manage them as a group.

The two settings below are available for a business group. You cannot set both within one business group.
- Permission management

The business group is used for the purpose of managing the operation permissions for data processing by general users.
- Filtering conditions

The business group is used for the purpose of filtering management information. Specification of permissions to the business group is skipped.
You can specify the business group in the Business Group - Detailed Information screen.
To use the business group for the permission management, clear the Omit to specify permissions check box in the Business Group - Detailed Information screen.
To use the business group only for filtering conditions, select the Omit to specify permissions check box in the Business Group - Detailed Information screen.

Even if you defined a business group in the management information for the purpose of managing user permissions, you can still use the management information as a filtering condition.
