Numeric field computations

When an output field is a numeric data type, you can perform calculations between input fields or between an input field and any value, and output the result as the value of the output field. It is also possible to include fixed values and dynamic values in the numeric operation formula. For example, you can apply a tax rate to convert data for before-tax prices into tax-inclusive prices.

You can set this function in the Output Information Settings dialog box of the Set Mapping Information screen in the Data Processing Settings screen.
