What you can do by using DataMagic

DataMagic is a data conversion tool that allows a set of data processing such as data extraction, processing, and conversion to be performed. You can perform operations by using the GUI and commands. You can also perform data processing by incorporating commands into a custom tool or batch processing.

Enterprises are required to build an information infrastructure that analyzes and uses tremendous amounts of data accumulated over years. However, there are some issues to be solved. That is, to handle different data formats used by each infrastructure and convert data that match with the data formats used by business partners for e-commerce.

DataMagic allows data processing to convert data formats that meet the intended business. In addition, data processing by DataMagic allows extracted data to be output in Microsoft Excel format and used as a simple report, standardizes mixed data formats, cleanses data by eliminating unnecessary data, and performs many other tasks.

DataMagic supports custom external characters or EBCDIC and Unicode characters native to Windows. DataMagic also supports CSV, XML, Microsoft Excel format, and fixed and variable length formats. In addition to data formats used for businesses, DataMagic can convert data to standard formats such as Zengin and CII. Further, to support global businesses, date calculations including conversion between Western calendar and Japanese calendar dates, and numeric character string calculations including digit delimiters and currency symbols are also supported. For details about data formats supported by DataMagic, see Data format that can be used in DataMagic.
