Generation Management
Trace logs provide changeover functionality for files in the output location according to the specified conditions.
The maximum number of log files managed by generation management is 99.
You can configure generation management in the Operation log and trace log tab of the System Environment Settings screen.
You cannot use the Operation Log for the DataMagic Desktop grade.
Changeover method
For Changeover Method, you can select "Do not change over" or "Change over after exceeding a specified file size".
"No changeover" is also possible.
Change over after exceeding a specified file size
Changeover of the output location will occur when the specified file size is exceeded.
You can specify the size in the range from 10 MB to 100 MB. Newly-created files are named file name.n. (n increases consecutively.)
